Morning Coffee Rituals with Barista Chris Dennis

Just like morning tea rituals, the coffee ritual can be a beautiful and nourishing practice that reminds us to live in the present moment. Today we get a glimpse of one barista's morning coffee ritual.

Merging his love of coffee and people, Chris Dennis has been working in the coffee industry for over 10 years. He started on an old school La Marzocco espresso machine at a restaurant called Schmoozies! in Disneyland California Adventure. As a barista at Klatch Coffee, Chris now spends every day with Victoria Arduino machines and Mythos grinders. 

Chris shares what he loves about the art of coffee and the morning ritual. "I love the idea of starting my day with coffee. Something warm, something vibrant, something with good flavor notes to it. Then sitting back and enjoying my coffee, doing a little morning reading, or listening to a podcast, or a fun TedTalk. Just getting ready for my day and having a nice cup to go along with it."
